Celtic Art – Repeating Patterns

This course takes you through 4 of the pattern styles in Celtic Art. Over four weeks we will create repeating patterns in four of the five elements of design in Celtic Art: Step Patterns, Key Patterns, Lattice Knots and Spirals.

I take you step-by-step through an easy-to-follow process of building up each pattern style. I show you how to identify the section of pattern that is repeated and how to ‘cut down’ each pattern into different shapes and borders.

I use proven formulae as the foundation to draw and design Celtic art patterns. This makes the process simple and easy to follow, eliminating many of the pitfalls when drawing Celtic patterns.
